The Swim Across Sweden (Sverigesimmet) is now two weeks under way and I´ve so far covered 190 km! That means I now only have 400 kilometres to go before hitting Gothenburg on the west coast:)

I´ve basically covered all of the Baltic Sea Coast between Stockholm and the entrance to Göta Kanal and I look forward to some easier swims, conditions wise. In the Baltic I´ve met some pretty nasty head winds and swells but all in all it´s been a remarkable adventure. My body is holding up surprisingly well and except som chafing I´m doing just fine. The water temperature has been way warmer than expected and that has been a pleasant surprise.

The Sverigesimmet is a charity project aiming to collect funds for WaterAid. WaterAid provide clean water and sanitation for developing countries and for people who lack the basic human rights of having clean water to drink.
